The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains. Legends say that Lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s water. Also visit New Baba Mandir. After Breakfast at the hotel in Gangtok and drive to Lachen enroute visiting villages and water falls. Overnight at hotel
Early morning proceed for excursion to Gurudongma Lake and Chopta Valley. Later drive from Lachen to Lachung. Overnight at hotel.
After Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Yumthang Valley & back. – The valley of flowers. Flora, Fauna, Rhododendrons and Primulas and found in abundance. Yumthang is the summer grazing grounds of the Yaks. Overnight at hotel.
After Breakfast at the hotel and drive back to Gangtok. Upon arrival check in hotel and overnight stay in Gangtok.
After Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, Flower Show, Hanuman tok, The Cottage Industry and Directorate of Handloom and Handicrafts,(closed on Sunday) ,Institute of Tibetology, (closed on Sunday) Do Drul Chorten, Ropeway (On Direct payment) and Bakthang Falls. Overnight at Gangtok
